HomeLink help please.........

Hi
Anyone know how to program the homelink from our car? I follow the instruction show in the manual but it does not seem to work. I have a rolling code type of garage. Please help ... I have a 2000 TL.

Thanks

For Rollingcode garage door openers.

I. Open the plastic covering the garage light (Yours might be different and location of the button depends on which maker and model, refer to manual)
II. There should be a learn/program/train button.
III. Press it and the LED should start blinking. You have 30 seconds to program your homelink before it goes off.
IV. Run to your car and press and release the button you want to link.
V. Keep pressing it till the LED on the garage door open goes off and then test it.
VI. Press the homelink button to test it.
