I think it's an extremely old picture that is still offtopic. But it should be an amazing car with the SH-AWD system and I would assume the first application of the IMA. The rims gotta go though

Is there something I'm missing about the NSX? I mean its a nice car and all, but I spec'd one out on acuras site and it was $90,000! for a 6 cylinder car with not that much HP? I don't understand why anyone would buy one over one of the top end benzs or some other car, someone help me out here...

Because horsepower isn't everything, basically. The car was amazing in '91, but it definately needs a refresh. I don't have one but check out nsxprime.com for owner opinions.

The HSC pictures are from the Tokyo auto show, IIRC.
There is an entire sub-forum on nsxprime devoted to the 2nd-Gen NSX.
Nobody outside of Honda knows the specifics, despite what you may read in various magazines. There is rampant speculation.
As for the value of the current NSX, you really must drive one to understand. Its too bad we don't get the NSX-R in the US, or you would probably be more aware of the capabilities of the current 'old' NSX.

I saw it at the Detroit Autoshow ... looks great in person. Have pics of it ... but on my laptop. Definitely worth a look ... but who knows what Honda will put under the hood until they release it.
