So I finally saw the '02 in the sheet metal. It looks great. The rims don't look as cheap as they did in the pics, but not that great either. The dealer had a couple of white ones, and one in anthracite. That is one cool color. I want to see a dark blue in person before I finally decide on color though. I am definately going for the '02. The dealer had a few '01's in there too, which looked outright plain when comparing the two.
I think you'd have to be nuts to buy an 01 at this point just to save a couple of grand. For those who already got 01's, you don't fall into this category since you have been enjoying your cars for a while now.
Dealer said MSRP, no deals for the type S, but will negotiate on tl-p's. Sticker was 28.8 PLUS 500 destination = 29.3. I think I'll pull the trigger when I can get it for 28.
