Hit and run

Hi club members, I need your opinions, my 2002 type. With 89500 miles was involve in a hit an run the car was hit
from the back door on the driver side to the center of the trunk was complete destroyed, the frame is twisted like a pretzel. The shop state farm took it to aid that they had to disconnect the car o give me an estimate of the damage, and in most cases that it an be rebuild because it made up of several plate that can be replaced, I thought that the frame was all one piece and i am concern that the car will never run straight again ,they are assuring me it can be fixed as good as new ,this sounds a little fishie to me .never heard of this process . I would greatly appreciate your options.
thank you,
Sterling

If the frame is damaged, your car is a goner. Guaranteed. Have them write an estimate, and then compare it to what it's worth. The body shop wants/needs to make money. State Farm will not pay more to repair your car then it is worth.
