Post hit a friggen pothole and it ripped through my tire

today coming home from a party at new brunswick, i hit a ****in pothole and wham, a flat. sucks, and to top it off i didn't have the donut in the car at the time, i took it out for my system. finally went to pick up my donut, got back and put it on no prob. driving home, i realized my sub isn't working, i'm like WTF!!! so tommorow i'm gonna try to find a place or maybe a nearby honda dealership to see if they got my tire in stock and get them put on. anyone have a idea what it costs and that if dealerships are open sat??

long time no see Mafiosso! Sorry to hear about the tire! Must have been some pot hole to blow out those stocks. I hope a tire store is open and has them in stock, I'm sure it will be cheaper than the dealer.

I just blew out two tires and a type-s rim this week driving over a bad railroad crossing, so i feel your pain. Got mine fixed after $800. Good luck with yours!

I blew mine out last year on a Saturday night. No pothole though. Freakin nail.

The only place open on Sunday was Sears Automotive. Thank god.

You can let the roads department know about your problem and they should offer to compensate you for the tire. That's what they do in Ohio anyway. Worth the few minutes of paperwork to try to get back that $140.

yup, those stock tires are weak. I blew out one of my stock tires a couple of months after I bought the car. Apparently, the tire got *pinched* when I hit a pothole. What the hell kinda tire would get pinched upon impact and get ripped up!? I hate those stock tires.

Maybe you should just get a new set of good tires to prevent any future blow outs!
