Dadgumit, I was a little tired and unattentive on my way home, and I hit a curb with my right rear wheel while turning into my garage.
I got out of the car muttering under my breath, and I looked real close at that wheel--doesn't seem to be bent, but it was kinda dark.
I hope I don't get vibrations tomorrow morning when I drive to work. One consolation I can take is that the corner seemed to "ride" over the curb rather than being shoved laterally, so I'm hoping the curb only hit the rubber

Hope your rim is ok, but it could've been worse. A guy I work with just got brand new Alstadt rims for his 540i 3 months ago. He was going to our company Christmas party, ran over a pothole, and damaged both rims on the driver side beyond repair. One rim had a crack all the way to the lug nuts.
Something like that would make a grown man cry.

unless you were hauling ass into your garage.. you should be ok. if your tire didn't pop...then your rim is probably ok. i hit a 3ft wide....9 inch deep pothole at like 50mph and didn't do anything to my rim. THANK GOD!!!!

PHEW! Checked out my rim and tires this morning and everything is A-OK. I could see where the curb contacted the tire: there was a scuff mark about 3/4 way around the tire, but it only reached halfway to the rim. I don't think the tire was damaged either.
Thank goodness!
Gotta be more careful next time.
Thank goodness!
