Let me review:
You're 18, so you have at the most 2 years driving experience (legally)
Your SRS light is on, meaning no airbags work
Your seatbelt light is on, meaning you aren't wearing one
And you're doing 130+mph on a public highway, endangering everyone around you.
I'm sorry, mods, if you don't like "preaching" but with people I love on the roadways every single day I have you say you give every teenager a bad reputation and it will be you and those like you that will cost youth in the future part of their freedom to drive at 16. After enough of you die, and kill enough innocent people, over stupid and irresponsible behavior like this the driving age will be raised.
If this is the future of our world, we are so screwed.

too many cars around to do that. 1 little mistake = BIG accident at that speed.
im not saying to never do that cause it must have felt great but u gotta be a lil cautious with other cars around you.

I love when people post vids that would incriminate them of some form of wrong-doing. Make sure you take some vids when Medford troopers show up at your door.

Now, I will admit that I--like virtually all drivers--have driven faster than the posted speed limit before. However, I have NEVER driven that fast...not in my current 3G TL or my previous '03 TL-S. If you really feel the need to drive that fast on anything beside a track, you should do it on a road where 1). there is a divided highway with a WIDE median and guardrail separating you and traffic traveling the opposite direction, and 2). you pass ZERO cars traveling the same direction as you. If you see that you are coming up on a car on your side of the road, SLOW DOWN; don't pass them at that crazy speed.
Actually, I take that last paragraph back. I recommend that everyone slow down on public roads. If you want to do a top speed run in your car, take it to the track.

Think about it...let's say the speed limit on that road is 65 mph, and due to some inaccuracy in your speedometer, you were ONLY going 135 mph. That's a 70 mph differential in speed between you and the cars around (for now we will assume they were all going the speed limit or close to it). If another motorist were to unsuspectedly change into your lane and you had nowhere to go but into the back of their car, that would be a BAD, BAD accident. Fatalities could easily occur in an accident like that.

wow.... im about speechless... the fastest i have ever gone in my 99 TL, which i have only had for about a month or so now... is like 105. I would never think of doing that...especially under those conditions.
Oh yeah, just to let u guys know. I was safe when i did that. It was maybe 1:30am, and NO CARS AROUND OR PASSED on the highway. not to mention i was using 2 hands and my air bag was working and i had my seat belt on! LOL.. some people these days!
