high tension - trunk springs (tensioners)
Thanks for the replies, at least I know I'm not the only one with the problem....now...where do I get those high tension springs for the trunk... I went to the dealer where I got my TL-S and they told me there is no such thing,...

Search for CL parts, 2001, Exterior Accessories. Its listed as "Spring set - trunk". Im not 100% sure (you can email or call them, they are very helpful), but I think thats what you are looking for. 31.00 + shipping.
Dont think you can get away without them........I bought my Accord wing off ebay (factory wing with LED, but no springs or gaskets), and once I installed the wing but not the springs, the trunk would automatically close when I used the remote opener. Added the springs and it made everything better again
