Unhappy High RPMs/Throttle Body

I am still having high RPM (1400-2000 idle) problems. The Acura dealership diagnosed it today as a bad throttle body sensor, and you can't just replace the sensor. You have to replace the WHOLE throttle body (about $430 with labor). They said they couldn't definitely say the mods did it. The car has about 53,000 miles on it and it may have just been time for it to go out. I think the mods (or the installer) did do it though. Any input?

Can you put a Type S throttle body on a '99 TL? It looks like I am going to have to buy one; so if it is a possibility, that would be the way to go!

That's kinda steep for a throttle body.....hmm.....do you have a salvage yard near you? Does anyone know if 98+ Accord throttle body would work, if so, you shouldn't have too much of a problem finding one. Could you turn the idle adjust screw to a lower speed for now? Or would that cause you to possibly stall.

I can see how they might blame the mods, they probably think something flew through or off the CAI......
