do they loose there "white" color with age? i was next to another tl tonight and mine did not seem as white as they used to be. do they loose there kelvin as they age? mine are on ALOT and i have 141k on the car

 

They are supposed to go higher in kelvin as they get more hours. This means that they will get bluer and dimmer. Brand new ones have a much more yellowish color to them.

Mine developed a bit of pinkish tint. I found that when I use them only for a few minutes a day (driving into our parking garage) the pinkish tint starts to develop. One time, after a longer trip with the lights on I noticed that the pinkish tint had gone away. So now I try to turn them on for at least a 1/2 hour trip every once in a while to get rid of the pink tint.

 

mine are almost standard halogen color now when on. when they first turn on they look normal but after awhile they turn... well halogenish
