hey guys im new to the forum and the acura scene. just wanted to know what type of hids are in the 99 acura tl. the info section said Front Headlight (Hi) 9005, but dont really understadn what it means. so another question would be would d2s or d2r fit in our cars? thanks.

 

Do a search on 6000K and you will have more than enough info to look at. Trust me. Good Luck

 

I guess the hi beams are 9005 if thats what the info says. I dont know, I've never had to change it, and I refuse to put fake xenons in. As for our HIDS, all 99-03 TLs use D2R bulbs. D2S are used for the projector type system like BMW and the new 04 TL. Hope this helps.
