HIDextra Razir DRL5 LED Daytime Running Light Bar

Anyone used this LED light bar, I picked one up for $30. I need some more light at night on the road, so this looked like a good idea.

They will look nice in the 99-2001 models specially in the front lower air ram, Don't try to fit them in the Fog Holes though.

fog light holes?! Ooops- ahh mine ended up being a ram air port for the intake

It does say gives more light to see with at night BUT as actual driving type light you need the round or square housing units with the correct lens-backing design
I have seen those in mini-round housings too

A row of lights will make you way more visible and I am all for that,,
they are not designed to give long range light.
a pool of light in front of the car as seen in the pics- I would believe that

Thanks guys. I'm not really trying to replace my brights so hopefully this will be add a little more on the immediate road in front of me. My HID 5ks are just not enough and don't do well with wet roads or poorly striped roads. They reflect nicely off of all things that have reflective materials like signs and newer road lines however.

I would invest 20-50 bucks in a good set of driving lights- the mini sized ones you mount under the bumper or to lower grill
get light down low where you need it

have you ckd the light adjustment- against the garage door?

Not yet as hidextra was kind enough to send the wrong product. I am waiting on the correct LEDs to arrive

i would recommend polishing, and aiming your headlights, and checking out HID Planet on lighting.

do you ASK hidextra about the light amount from the LEDs?
they are car guys, who live in the Bay Area-- and use their own products

not that I work there- just the story the guy told me
