HID Low Beam Upgrade
#2
6000K Phillips bulbs would look good. But if you do that you will lose about 10% light on the road, nothign drastic. But that would be a good reason to upgrade your fogs to HID too.. haha!!
You can get them off ebay or I think there is a guy that sells them from Taiwan. Someone will post his email address soon, I think sonogoku and bxscig bought them there.

Thanks. I heard that D2Rs are the fit for our cars. Does anyone know if our cars can handle output greater than 6000K (e.g. 8500K)? FYI, here's a site I found for buying new bulbs:

it looks nicer, but isn't the point of HID's to get more light on the road? I personally think the purple look (8500) looks rice. 6000k's aren't too bad but I like the light on the road.

I don't know if there is any way to tell what brand they are. Most probably generic. Everyone stands behind Philips for life and quality. Others have bougth the "cheap" ones off ebay but I do not hear reviews of it except they work and are cheap. NOt sure of the life. Also, if you plan to replace it, replace both at the same time otherwise it MAY look off first because of brands and second before of color (K) shifting.
