Is there a drop in replacement bulb that I con put in my wife's '02 that would give it the HID (blue) look?

I like having fogs but I saw another '02 coming down the street and I don't like the look of blue headlights and white fogs.

Fellow member csp33 has the real Phillips HID 9006 kit on his '02 TL foglights, and it matches the headlights perfectly. I saw it in person and it looked awesome, and tried to take a pic of it but it didn't turn out too great:

that's it, i'm getting the Phillips HID's. it's worth the $$. i think i have a fixation with HID's, i always have my lights turned on....day, night, dawn, dust...whatever i'm also going get my wires spliced, so i can have the parking lights and the foglights on w/o the headlights. as for the pic, it matches perfectly.

The kit consists of only the bulbs, ballasts and wiring. The housings shown are the factory '02 types. Those housings will not fit the '99-'01 without mods.

Apparently Osram is releasing a complete HID foglight system. Although not a direct fit, it is an option for the pre-'02 crowd. www.acura-tl.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/008846.html

Man, those HID conversion kits for the 9006 bulbs are tempting but they cost between $500 to $600. Anybody find a better price for a quality setup?

yup... i have a set of PIAA superwhites (let me check when i get home) that matches PERFECTLY with the headlights... i'll give ya the part# when i get home.. or email me k? i'll try to see if i can scan the pix (but u cant really tell that much from the pix)
