Hey man, first off, if your just upgrading your stock HID 4300K system to 6000k, then all you need is the bulbs, and no need for the whole kit including the ballasts. Our cars already have the ballasts, so this would just sit and rot, unless you plan on upgrading your fog lights to HID.

Second, the bulbs you should get, should be Phillips, since they make the best product IMO, even OSRAM I think makes very comprable product.

Third, if you do wanna upgrade your stock fogs to HID, then dont go with those ballasts, you wanna make sure you get Ballasts that are made in Germany by HELLA. They are reliable.

Overall there is a reason why that kit is so cheap, like they say "What you pay is what you get".

A cheap but reliable alternative would be the McCulloh Kit, maybe some people have put them in, do a search for it, you'll find it.

I saw the phillips and the orsam anddddd the hella out there but they are way to pricey for my taste at the moment especially to go into a diamante...

yeap I agree with NYDesi80. I just got a brand new set from HID-online.com Boy it looks sharp! Although only one side of my fog works now but still it is nice! I had 6000k philips made for about 2 years. It never bother oncoming car but it lights up the road VERY BRIGHT! I wouldn't trust any other brand than Philips or HELLA made....

Osram are OEM bulbs in all 99-01 TL. Some newer TLs (02-03) and some CLs have OEM philips bulbs. My car is nearly 5 yrs old, I have replaced almost all the bulbs in the car except my HID. So I personally back Osram up in terms of reliability.
