HID head Lights bulbs
If I look at the xenon bulb, it has a very large gray portion. If you where to remove this gray portion, would the bulb be alot brighter. That is to say that you would not break the bulb trying.
I would think that the gray portion(the blacked out portion) would block alot of the light?? Is the gray portion for beam control? I would think the light fixture would control that??
Has anyone tried this out? Or is there a different xenon bulb on the market that doesn't have the black out portion, legal or otherwise?

Are you really willing to take that $1000 risk and to take a little grey piece off of already bright headlights??
If you break it, that will not be under warrantly.. I'm sure it isn't cheap to replace either..
Why fock with it??
