Hid Fogs MassivE :)
Mannnn that's all I got to say about my HID fogs, I have 8500k headlights and 8500k fogs now.
I wrapped the ballast all around with duct tape so water won't get into it (it happened before) and mounted them under the stock one, the 9006 bulb fits but it does not fit tight....so this allow condensation to build up
So I put the bulb in and put silicone all around the back base.
I also took out the metal cylinder that was in there, it is easy to remove you just have to do a lot of squeezing and turning.
I dropped them in tonight and all I can say is damnnnnn
If your thinking of getting it then get them.......it is worth every penny.
I can't wait to take a drive to PA with them
Thanks
Thanks

At the risk of being flamed; I never use my fog lights. I can't figure out what they are for, other than to drive in a dense fog. The hid low beams look obnoxious enough by themselves without the fog lights on.

I also have HID fogs and was thinking that the cylinder in the fog housing was a benefit since it directs the light to project forward. Maybe Im wrong. I personally think 8500K is distracting to oncoming traffic, thats why I have 4300K in both top and bottom. Post a pic so we can see what it looks like.
Anyone else take out the cylinder in the fog housing and got better light output?
