HID Fogs for 99-01

I was wondering if these aux. driving/fog lights would fit in the fake fog holes. They are the "Micro Xenon" by Hella. They are only 2 3/4 in in depth. How much space is there behind those fake fog holes before the metal beam thingy? If you guys want to check em out...

They look pretty sweet...what do you guys think?

I have no idea. Probably just another way to mount?

The cheapest that I found these going for was $697 USD for the pair. Sure beats the PIAA 930 which are at least over a grand....Plus, I think its thin enough so there will be no need to cut the reinforcement bar...

The only thing I can tell you is no matter what kind of fog lights you get, you need major modification to put those in fake holes.

i bet these would fit nicely.
if i cut out the black plastic.

the only thing is..it would open up the
fender area where the CAI is.
let air in..and then the air would be flowing over the really foglight and
taken up by the CAI.

hmmm..
i guess the only way is take the bumper off and size it up...

there's no way i'm spending 700 bucks on fogs...
