you already have the stock setup for HIDs so you just need bulbs. Check out plasmagarage.com

D2R is the direct replacement... but if you want t just a little bit more brighter then go with D2S type bulbs which are for projector headlights (just keep in mind you would have to modify those to fit and also there goes your cutoff line)

Nope just bulbs... many of us including myself have done this. Very easy. When and if you want to convert your fog lights from stock to HID then you need to do bulbs and ignitors. And if you seek more information, just try doing a search, this topic has been covered way too many times. I'm sure you'll find all the answers and all other usefull info that way, much quicker.

Based on your answer, will our bulb (D2R) fit an Audi A6 or BMW OEM projector set up? or even an aftermarket, like those by TYC Elegante for the accords 98 - 02?

Thanks!

I'm sure you know this, but the stock 4300k is the whitest you are going to get. Anything above that starts to turn more and more blue. Blue =

6000k is not noticable when u look straight at it alone. only slightly when placed next to a 4300k. 8000k is no doubt blue

if you're buying JUST BULBS, the best deal is HIDKING.com.......other than that, their kits seem to be a bit pricey.....
