You could also buy a set of the upgraded KAIXEN HID bulbs that are 6000k. I have a few in stock.

My driver's side HID is out....I checked the fuse and it was blown. I changed the fuse but nothing happened, so I'm taking it in to the stealership for them to take a look at it. Hooray, more money out of my pocket to fix another problem with this car.

If you are handy you can swap bulbs and see if it's the bulb. If it's not try swapping ballasts, but that requires removing the front bumper. It was the ballast for me. If you take it to the dealer, expect to pay a pretty penny. That's what other poeple have reported anyway.

I took it to the dealer and they swapped the bulbs, but it didn't work. They're still not sure what the problem is...but they only had it for like 30 minutes so they'll need it for longer. What's really fucked up is my daytime running lights (DRLs) are on, even after I turn on the lowbeams. I also noticed the fuse for the HID was burnt out, so I switched it and then the new fuse burned out too.

Kinda sounds like there may be a short in the ballast. I don't know if that would cause the fuse to keep on blowing though. Maybe it's a ground wire that came loose. Well, either way, I guess the dealer will figure it out.

Hopefully it's just a wiring issue....I'm taking the car back in on Wednesday. I'll post the results then. Thanks for the help

Took it in, turns out the Control Unit crapped out....it had corrosion on the surface and it smelled burnt. I suppose it was damaged from the accident last year...whatever. The bulb itself was fine. Well, $630 later my lights are working again.
