i had a set of xetronic 8k bulbs in my 2000 tl that i bought from hidexpress over a year ago n tonight one blew. i was woundering where the best place would be to get a new set cause i dont want to get one n them be mismatched. i seen them on ebay for $125 w/ a 1 yr warranty but they r d2s arent they sapose to be d2r bulbs . also does anybody know anywhere else to get bulbs cheap cause i paid $190 for my last set n they lasted only 1 yr n 2 months. heres the site http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-05...25602585QQrdZ1

D2S bulbs are for projector headlights. Your TL needs D2R so the headlight lense can properly focus and use the available light. Using a D2S will cause glare. BTW, D2R lights have a black ring near the base.

Are you sure that the bulb is dead? Have you tried swapping the bulbs to make sure it's not the ballast?
