HID ballasts - interchangeable btween D & P sides?

My driver's side headlight has a halogen bulb wired in (see my other thread in Problems & Fixes). I picked up a passenger side headlight complete with HID ballast, ignitor, and bulb via eBay. I looked on oemacuraparts.com and they only have one part number for the ballast, ignitor, and bulb... so am I correct to assume that the ballast bolts up to either headlight the same way? Are the hole patterns different? Hopefully they're the same but if not I can figure something out. Thanks guys
