I would strongly reccomend taking your stock airbox resinator out as your first engine mod. do a search on it in this forum, or check last few days of posts. the title was along the lines of "Ice box vs. air box resinator removed" I did this last week and almost $hit my pants when I heard the engine after, it makes the engine sound soooo mean. Anyway welcome to the site, you'll enjoy every min of it!!

Sweet ride! I really want to drive a type S...one of these days. Ya take off that resonator and add a K&N filter and you will be plesently surprised! for something that was very easy and cheep. I did mine a few months ago and it saved me hella money cause I originally wanted to get a AEM V2 intake, but I did this and I am going to put that money toward some Comptech Springs...btw that should be your second mod...new springs.

Yes, I can vouch for the "surprise" by removing the resonator and simply adding a K&N filter. I love it when I floor it..the sound it makes. But if you want the loudest sound..go with a AEM CAI.which makes a sweeter sound.

BTW, welcome to the site.

Yeap...would love to remove the resonator but will this Void the warranty? I got the car from the dealer with 52,000 miles on it and its a 2003!! I wouldnt mess with the warranty since our trannys got so many problems.
