I just thought I would post a message now. I've been lurking in here for about a week. My Mom just got a white '03 TL-S. Fun car..........and now she's got Vtec yO

Anyway, do you guys have any tips or anything for me to pass on to her. I see all the tranny crap, that sucks Do you think there will be any recalls or anything to take care of this problem?

Oh, whats up Ray! Just got some new test software, the car HAULS now. Very VERY noticable difference

 

tell ur mom that the only way to prevent tranny damage is with a CAI and headers.

Heh, you might say that. I do things for them every now and then. He will definitely be faster with the new software. We are still working on it, but so far the results have been quite amazing.......and thats the pump gas proggy:devil:

A4, is that the 93 octane program you are talking about? Ray mentioned that the other day. Why don't you work on your mom's TLS now and hook a brova up!

Yes, 93 octane. The tuning hasn't begun on 100 or 104.....but if we have gotten this much out of 93, then race gas modes should be very nice as well


Heh, as far as the TL. I pulled the intake lid up just a bit so it the induction sound wouldn't be quieted by the stock intake system. I then took my mom for a ride......she's possibly looking at a mild intake now

 

Go mom! If she wants mild (I assume sound) then I think the Comptech icebox that just came out might be the way to go. relatively quiet until you open her up. I hope to get one soon.

Hehe, we'll see how it all works out. But as of now, [benchracer on] I conservatively estimate easy 13 second 1/4th pulls on pump and VERY low 13's on 100.[/benchracer off] :p

 

Damn! His car feels pretty fast now so I can't wait to see/hear/feel it with the 93 octane program. Its amazing the tuning you can do with those turbo Audis!

Shoot, I can only look forward to running mid-14s with headers and icebox!
