HEY 1ST GENERATION TL OWNERS, ALTERNATIVE FOR FOG LIGHTS
..I have been wanting fog lights for awhile, however i hate the look of all the aftermarket fog lights that are on the market, i kinda like the ones with the chrome and silver casing, but i know that will not look that way for long..
........a friend of mine who works at a shop was taking a look at my car and asked me about cross wiring, my blinkers into fog lights instead of attaching them, these are the lights that are at the bottom of your bumper, and only the corner light comes on when you have your lights on................he told me he could cross wire this some how, and , the light would still act as my blinker. after thinking about it i went ahead and let him do it.
..the result was my new fog lights that are factory integrated into my bumper, and they are bright as hell, with the super white bulb that i replaced the factories with, it appears a purple color, like that of bmw's.......it looks really cool because my headlamp bulbs are also that color, along wth the side lights, so theres an idea if you are looking for an alternative to the ugly fog lights i often see placed on the first gen. TL.
...i am goin to hot import nights this saturday in atlantic city, so if you are up there u can check them out
