Here comes new tranny!
Here is my transmission story.
I called for transmission recall service and arranged it for this morning. When I dropped my car in, I also mentioned to service adviser that I believe that my tranny is slipping, when it’s hot. The evidence is that ATF lost its color since it was replaced at about 60k (I have now just over 68k on the car).
Just got a call from service: I am getting new transmission. What a service!
BTW, my loaner is Taurus. Oh well, I have to sacrifice something. Hopefully it’s only for couple of days.
