Help! Xenon Light Question

I have a general question re: Xenon headlights, I just purchased a Hella Xenon ballast and bulb (from a 2000 Audi A6) and wanted to know if the 12 volt "input" to the ballast is polarity sensitive? The "output" connects directly to the Xenon bulb. Anyone know?? I'm afraid to connect it knowing I may fry it.

Thanks in advance,
TundraMan

On my phillips ballast you can plug it in the wrong polarity and it will not effect the ballast it just won't work. I had this problem with my HID retro. On my 96 Accord I had to plug the ballast wiring in backwards to the original wiring to get it to work. Your ballast looks identical to my phillips (as does the wiring) so I think you should not have any problem

Good luck.
