HELP!! Window Regulator Problem
Ok ive read a lot of threads with the window regulator and it seems like everyone just replaces them..
I took apart the door and took out the window regulator and the cord broke through this plastic piece... but it only had jus broke through when someone rolled the window down and up...
i got the cord back through and all the way around and i plugged the electric cord back in n the bracket in the middle goes up and down now so its obviously working....
MY ONLY PROBLEM IS the plastoc piece on the opposite end of the little pulley wheel wont go lock back in place...
I got the cord pulled all the way around im jus struggling trying to pull it up n fit into its little slot n lock in...
So wat im tryin to get at is... is there an easier way to pull it up n lock it in a certain tool or something...
or am i just gonna have to buy a new regulator with the cord and everything already intact...
Any help would be tha best im sittin in the garage tryin to do it now... lol... thanxxxxx

if something comes loose like that- it usually means a plastic piece has broken
It may not appear broken to you- but you didnt see what it looked like before!
here is the complete repair manual download- free-
http://home.comcast.net/~amberlani01/site/
in there will be window reg info and diagrams
Glass installers replacing regulator assemblies have 2 big suction cups with a cable between them-one cup on each side of glass, while cable goes over top of door, it securely holds the window up or partialy up as needed
You can also look at acura parts diagram online and see if everything matches
or where are the broken latches
ahh, a poet and didnt know it!

its not going to stay up without a pice of 2x4 at this point
Broken plastic ends- slipped cord,,,and you think you're going to slide it all back together?
not going to happen
Try the auto recycler yards for a used assembly
