help w/ exhaust install - staten islanders seeking

i finished the passenger side no problem. the driver side on the other hand was a pain in the ass. i stripped one of the bolts real bad. and i cant get it off. any suggestions?! are there any muffler places in staten island that would do it for me real quick and will be open on a SUNDAY. im sure they would get it off in a minute with their air gun. (btw, the one comptech exhaust sounds real nice)

sounds like some one wasnt using the correct size socket! find any thing that will slip over it. 6 pint sockets will do less stripping than 12 point. ( if memory serves correctly its a 14mm) hammer it on and go to town with a 6 pt socket. if you were in wis id take it off for ya!

If it's stripped that bad just get a 13mm 12pt and hammer it on there like fsttyms1 said then that should do it. Oh, don't feel bad, yes it's always the last one but i've had the same problem.

update: so i went to work on it today, tried all the different things. i even got so pissed i went at it with a dremel and broke like 10 of those lil disc shits. next i went and got a bolt cutter disk from the hardware store. i went thru 3 of the fukers and i only cut thru half the bolt. then i had to go to work, so i had to call it quits. im gonna just take it to meineke in the morning, tell them to cut that one nut and bolt out and give the car back to me and ill do the rest. i figured i wouldve had to take it to them neways might as well try it myself.

mission: FAILED. im gonna try and take a pic of the thing in the morning. it looks funny as hell

I Feel Your Pain And Frustration. It Happened To Me On My Last Nut. Sounds Like Dejavu. Same Thing That I Went Through. I Must Of Tried Every Possible Solution . But I Ended Up Going To A Friend Of Mines Shop Where They Used A Chizel Drill And What Took Me 3 Days To Try And Fail With Took Then 2 Min. To Accomplish. Any Body Shop Will Do. Some Places Will Probably Do It For Free.

LAST Update

i got the retard nut off at a shop that blow torched it off. took them literally 15 minutes. also fun to watch! neways, when i drove off the lot, i didnt notice much of a difference but after a few hours of driving it got a little louder. weird, i dunno if this was normal. but at the tone its settled at now is pretty nice. but i def want the quiet tips for the highway, that can get kinda annoying
