Help With Tires!!

OK i am lookin at the NITTO 225/50/17 VR tires on the stock rims. i have the comptech springs and i need to know if i go to the 225 size will i have any problems with rubbing or no, bc i can get these at a great price and unlike goin with a 45 series tire i wont lose any of the drop.
thanks marc

I used to have the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S in 225/50/17 and had no rubbing problems with the Comptechs.

I didn't care for the look of the 225/50 though, so I went back to the stock size once the Sumitomo HTR+ came out. I'd recommend those in the stock size over the Nittos...both because they'll look better and probably perform better. Read the user reviews of the Sumi's at Tirerack.com. They're great tires at a great price.
