My side airbag indicator keep flashing when I have a passenger. Sometimes it would come on for a second and then turns off...What's wrong with it? Does anyone have the same problem? Thanks in advance.

That's normal. Happen to me and believe happen to all the others. The side airbag goes off when your passenger lean against certain angle that could possible get hurt by the airbag. The car is designed this way so that side airbag will not deploy and hurt the passenger .

You can ask your passenger to sit back straight and u'll notice that the light is off.

Dont worry it's normal

That's right. If someone or something is in the the deployment path of the side airbag, it will temporarily disable it in case of a side impact. Also, if you have an object in the front seat (briefcase, heavier bag) and lean it against the door, chances are, the "side airbag off" light will illuminate also.
