Hi Folks,

I was just wondering if anyone has ever removed the Plastic locking peice from the rear arm rest... The reason I ask, is because it looks so ugly when its pulled down on top of the arm rest, and if its closed the bass does not come through as much...

I think Acura calls it the ski hole protector...

P.S. Its the peice after you pull down the rear arm rest, I dont was to cut it out, but remove it clean, and simple...

just leave, it doesnt look that ugly. what i do is when i go to like an under ground parking lot at the movies or somewhere else i lock it just in case someone breaks into my car and trys to steal my system. i locked it and then tries pushing, hitting, and puling it and it barely budged. dont forget to hit the switch in the glove compartment and lock that too.

i took it out to fit my snowboard through, but i put it back in because i usually put my hockey sticks in the pass through and i don't want to rip/wear the leather (or vinyl, whichever it is) down.

How did you take that piece out? some how mines popped out and everytime I drive it rattles and the noise pisses me off so I counter attack by turning the music up. Thanks in advance.
