HELP!! Rear Passenger Running Light Out!!
HELP!! Rear Passenger Running Light Out!!
The other day I took my tail lights out to smoke them (which I ended up not liking the results anyway) and put them back in without any problems (or so I thought). Just tonight when warming up my car to go out, I realized that the rear passenger running light was out. It is one of the same bulbs as the brake light, and it lights up when I hit the brakes, so I'm guessing it is a wiring or fuse problem. I tried jiggling the wired and seeing if everything was still connected and still nothing. Can anyone help me? It's really annoying.
Fixed
I inspected the bulbs from the side that worked and realized that there are two filaments inside the bulb, one for the brake, and one for the running light. Of course, the side that I was having a problem with had a broken filament. Replaced the bulb, problem solved.
