I don't know what happened to the DIY, but you should be alright. Go grab some friends to help you. It's fairly easy. I noticed that you also have a 2003 model and ordered AEM CAI, you will probably have to make some adjustments to the piping. Reason is, it doesn't fit! I don't know if it's just my car or what, but my friend and I had to cut the tube where the air filter goes because the filter was sticking out too much.

The extent of the cut, I am not sure. But you will find out that you will need to make a cut once you install it. Did you also order the By-Pass Valve? If so, then you can do both at the same time. Goodluck.

lodoss22...yeah you were right i did have to cut the tube where the filter attaches..it was just a bit long..otherwise everything else in the install went smooth...i guess my uncle was so adept at installing it he didnt even have to remove the bumper...
