HELP!! problem with megan headers, vacuum hose?
i got megan headers installed today, they are the newest batch supposed to be resonance free but sure enough i hear a buzzing noise whenever i rev it past the 3-4k mark....it sounds like clickin/buzzing
the mechanics looked at it a second time, rebolted the headers, and said that the headers were bolted on correctly and they didnt have any clue about the resonance. then they said that the vacumm hose/ module thing in the top right corner of the engine bay seemed to be clicking with the resonance every time we reved the engine.
any idea whats going on??

No offense, but IMO, Megan sucks major A$$.
In fact, in the three years I've frequented this board, people have had problems with every header manufacturer except for one, and we know who that is.
Moral of the story, spend the extra money, and get a quality product.

i don't have any issues with my megans, i'm completely happy with my purchase, but in the essence of not wanting to hi-jack the thread i will go back to your question.
i don't know offhand about the vaccum module you're talking about. i'll check it out when i go out to my car later.
in the mean time you might as well check the bolts on your cat's heat shield and your O2 sensor (it's possibly it could be hitting something).
SSTS
