ok i got 2 quick questions i need help with.

1. That woooosh noise my car makes after i turn it off; is it bad? (i have a CAI installed)

2. In the morning when im about to go to work after i back out from my drive way i switch it into D4 and right after it makes like a light vibrating noise, i would always think it was my fone that was sitting on the dash but it was'nt, does anybody know what this sound is??? it kinda sounds like when a phone vibrates when its in your cup holder. the vibration noice only last for a sec the comes on again after another second has passed and then i never hear it again.



im not really worried I just want to know what these noises my car is making are.

I think your cai woosh noise is normal, unless you have a leak

The vibration you explained is probably the ABS checking. Did you have that vibration all along, or it just happens recently? If it happens recently, you might want to check your engine front and side mounts.

 

Ditto! Check the engine's mounts.

 

its normal for your CAI to make that WOOOOSH sound when you turn the car off... also, i always wondered what that light vibrating noise is as well... i also hear it twice right after i turn my car on, then never again, must be normal

 

If it was ABS checking, the moment you drive forward about 10feet, it will make that vibration feel, then another few 100 feet it will make another one. That is absolutely normal.

 

Normal and its normal. Its the ABS self test.
