HELP... paint damaged from mud guards
I am planning to get the body kit for my car very soon, so I decided to removed the mudguards on my car that has been on for about 1 yr now. WTF I was pizzed off. The mudguards from my car left a white strip from the mudguards. Does anyone know what I can do to remove those white marks left from the mud guards?

I really hope the metal is not exposed from the mudguards rubbing the paint. Search for "mud guards" and you might be able to find out about what to do with marks on your paint. Upon that search you will certainly find a lot of people complaining about the damage done by the mud guards.
NSXNEXT may be able to help. He seems pretty knowledgeable about paint and exterior car care.

Can you feel the scratch with your fingernail? If so, the only way to "properly" repair it is to repaint the panel, and blend in the adjacent panels. Very costly.
You could try touchup paint, but I don't think you'll be very happy.
Almost everyone that went from mudguards to a kit has this problem.

Thanks for everyones reply. Since my car is Black, it definitely shows.
NSXNEXT- I'm not sure if it is exposed to the metal because of the white strip mark. But up in the front, the top part I can't feel the scratch but from the middle part down to the bottom, I can feel the scratch left from the white marks. The back of the car isn't as noticeable, hopefully I can buff that out or something.
I did a search on the mudguards and found that "rominl" had the same problem and try the "professional scratch removal method" and was able to save a few $$$. Did anyone else try his method or does anyone know what else I can do to try to remove the white marks?
