Help, odometer lights turned off!

Hey guys, i should have expected id get some kind of trouble, i was installing a new aftermarket deck for the first time in my life by myself, and i got it done yesterday, the deck worked great, but i didnt put back the center console and the panels, well today i hooked up an ipod dock and started putting back the seat warmers and all that jazz, i havent put back the panels yet or the armrest when i get in my car at work tonight and my odometer lights arent working and niether are my climate control lights . This is wierd because the lights worked perfectly last night.
So im thinking either i fucked something up when i was rewiring the ipod dock and putting the deck back in today or by some coincidence, my lights just went out.
Could it be the battery?

O and i just wanted to say thanks to all the guys that put up such great detailed info on how to disassemble the center console and take out the HU, with your help i did my first real DIY....well its still in the process...haha

thanks ahead for the input!

Unless you cut wires you didnt do any thing wrong with the install. are all the climate control lights out? or just a few?

im pretty sure i didnt cut any wires. all the climate control lights went out. The only time i have a light turn on on the dash is if i press the front or back defrost and that little orange light comes on that shows its activated

Check the fuses, one's probably blown. Did you disconnect the battery before doing any work? The interior lights are very sensitive as I had the random one burn out here and there when I did any electrical work, even if it was just unplugging electrical connectors.

I don't know, maybe I'm just a "shockingly electrifying" human being, hard to believe, I know. But now I always do the disconnect dance...

unfortunately all the fuses look fine...its really wierd because the first night after the install, the lights worked fine, but yesterday i fiddled with the deck (put in a subwoofer out and an aux out and played with its placement in the console) but that is all. I cant understand why they would work one night and not the next. Maybe your right, one light probably did burn out, which means they all would burn out right?
oh and by the way...haha

i did check both fuse panels, you mean the driver and passenger side right? also when you say connectors you mean the connectors between the deck and the metra harness right?

thanks for the help, but i got restless and took it to a mechanic that fixed my friend's honda accord with the same problem, what happened was i think i didnt electric tape the illumination wire, and it probably grounded which from what i understand cause a short because when the mechanic looked at it he said i have a fucked up relay. he didnt seem to be very good, but he was able to bypass the relay and power my instrument panel. The only problem is that i cant regulate the power of the light using that little knob to the left of the steering wheel and the lights are just on full blast. I paid him 100 dollars for like 3 hours of work which could have been done in like 1 hour. maybe in the future ill get it trully fixed

Note for all you first timers: make sure you electrical tape all your wires that you didnt connect and those you did!!!!!!!!
