For that price you can get a nice Civic EX loaded with Automatic (if she doesn't want manual tranny) and side air bags. They are good, reliable cars.

You can get a 98-99 accord for under $18,000, as you know they are great cars. we all drive one everyday, and the complaints are minimum. Why not get her the undesquised TL?

My local Acura dealerships are offering $3000 off MSRP for 2001 Integras. They're getting discontinued for 2002, to be replaced by the Acura RSX.

The Integras run from $19,000 to $22,000 MSRP, before the $3000 discount.

You can get a new Accord LX for that kind of money.

But for 18K, i would rather buy a Galant ES V6 with almost no option.

Check out this site for pricing. Fairly accurate IMHO. Good luck!

Depends on what you're looking for - one car I'd check out in that price range is a three year old Saab 9-3, ours is still like new after three years and has been fantastic. Fun to drive, good in snow, plenty of room (check out the trunk), very comfortable seats, great gas mileage.
