help..need to know whats wrong!
my sisters accord...which is similar to the tl...its engine started to sound relaly loud...and it smells like fishy...from the inside..and when you pop the hood?...what could be wrong?...the loudness isnt exactly engine sound...but maybe belts...or soemthing..not like a fsat idle or soemthing...its like the normal mechanical soudns but louder...and it smells realy bad...fishy is the best was i can describe it..i really must know!....im suppose to take my road test in this car tomarrow since my TL doesnt qualify!!!....damn..life always screwz me over

Sounds like coolant to me, check the belts and hoses...in particular check to make sure the belts don't look too warn and cracked and also make sure they are seated properly. Not sure if there is a serpentine belt on that engine or not but check for a serpentine belt tensioner it might be loose causing the noise. Just an idea.
