Looking at 2003 Type S with 10,000 miles. What sort of things should I look for in terms of problems/must do repairs etc.??

main thing is the tranny issue for certain early 2003's. somewhere in this foruum there is a list of the effected vin#'s.

 

rotors, make sure they're not warped, mine warped at 12k

 

Transmission is the big thing. Find out if (a) it has been replaced or (b) if it falls in the 7yr/100,000 extended warranty from Acura. You can go to Acura.com, sign up as a new owner, and enter the vehicle's VIN as your VIN. It will then tell you if your vehicle is covered by the extended transmission warranty and any additional recalls.
