That's just your intake. Has nothing to do with your car overheating.

Check the hoses as the car is running. You should feel flow going thru them. It might help to blast your heat. Wear some gloves may get hot. Check all the hoses for flow you'll be able to tell with a squeeze. That's a good start. Check the main in and out of the radiator and all others you see.

Ps if u click the little i button in the lower right corner of your pic on photobucket mobile it will give you 4 options. Click the "IMG" code area and it will copy the info to display your pic right on this page with no link to click.

open the drain plug on the bottom of the radiator, and open the cap grab your hose and start putting water in if the water comes out the bottom it shouldn't have any blockage. if it flows freely through the radiator you have a bad thernostat or water pump

remove the hose, check for cracks or breaks, if the hose is fine clean the area where the hose goes and put it back and keep an eye on it if it leaks replace the hose

You should get more used to your engine bay...
It is a J32A from TL-P, The Coolant hose bendings and EGR Valve should give you a Hint!

What do you mean your radiator cap is melted? It's made out of metal. Unless you mean the coolant reservoir cap, which is on the plastic bottle between the radiator and the battery. If that cap is melted, you have a blown head gasket. That would cause the overheating. The hot exhaust gasses are getting in your cooling system and coming out of the overflow hose into the overflow tank. Those extremely hot gasses can easily melt plastic.
