Exclamation HELP! Leather Concerns

I just noticed cracks, or tears, in my driver's seat on the side next to that vinyl strip and then on the lumbar area of the seat is a dark line (looks almost like dirt) that goes from one end of the back to the other.

Is there any filler or anything I can do for the leather splits??? Is it possible to have them professionally fixed without replacing the entire leather backing?

And BTW- The car is NOT under warranty

Joe

Yes, the answers can be found at www.leatherique.com. The owner, George, is very helpful. I've gotten some of their leather dye and the color match is mint.

Thanks, I will call them today

BTW- do you know anything about softscrub on the leather? I heard it takes out tough stains that my Lexol isn't taking out and is safe to use as long as you condition after. Anybody know?

I've used softscrub on the vinyl part. I'd bet you George at Leatherique would not be happy to hear you using it on leather, but go ahead and ask him. He knows more about leather than anyone I've ever talked to about the subject.

Just make sure you dont get the version of softscrub that has bleach in it.
