what adhesive remover (w/o hurting paint) to use, better adhesive to attach new badge, and so on...

I think the reason is because no one has done it.
First thing you need to do is trade in your TL for a Civic or an Integra.
Indiglo badges don't stick to TLs

If so, use dental floss to remove the old "A" and then try to peel the adhesive off with your finger. If that doesnt work then get some bug and tar remover from an autoparts store and put some on the adhesive and that should soften it up. Hope this helps.

what I did is to take a hair dryer or heat gun, heat the badge up, but don't let it melt... the paint will come off too if you heat it up too long. and about 30 seconds should be good. use dental floss as mentioned above and peel it off. there should be no adhesive at all.
