well, my muffler fell off yesterday and the rest of my exhaust is in bad shape, i would like to get the exhaust replaced from the cat- back , i called the local acura dealers here and the best price i could get was 650 +tax on just the factory stuff, thats just ridiculous.
1. I was wondering if any of you guys know of a good exhaust (cat-back) that is a direct bolt -on and aroung 450 to 500 bucks.
2. Will the 98-02 Honda accord dual exit ehaust fit on the 00 acura tl 32, i know that our cars share a lot of components, magnaflow has a cat-back thats all stainless steel and dual exit and i can get it for 480 dollars shipped.

Any help would be great.

p.s. If anyone knows where i can get the factory system for cheap, please advise.

thanx

Seems klike your problem is solved? In your signature you stated that you have a custom magnaflow exhaust? If that was the damaged exhaust a good cat-back sytem is the Apexi WS. I've seen the cat-back system somewhere a little bit ago going for around $400 bucks. It looks good, but not as good as COmptech ( which is the shit ).

did your custom exhaust work fall apart or the factory stuff? why not go to a muffler shop and have some custom work done. it would be less than factory. or id recomend the comptech cat back but that is more than the factory$$

The deals are out there, just not easy to find sometimes. Here's what I got and I love it. I checked and he doesn't have any right now. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

i wish i could put the stock mufflers back on but when he was putting the magnaflows on he cut the pipe below the flanges and welded on a new pipe, and thats the pipe that gave out, but i got 106,000 on my car now and i just wanna get a new cat-back, so i don't have to worry about anything else. I got a price for the apexi ws installed for 500 from my local tuner shop, thinkin about just doing that.

Daverubino, That is a GREAT price for that exhaust, i wish he had more, and how are they?
how do they perform?
are they very loud, because i'm not lookin for anything too loud.

thanx

Yeah, I wish he had more for you guys too. I don't think it's too loud at all, just a deep rumble. You should think about doing it yourself. It's extremely easy. Just soak the nuts ahead of time and buy a 6 point 10mm socket so they don't strip. All you need is the socket, a ratchet and jack stands to be safe. But to answer your question, I love the system, it's not too loud (IMO) and it looks great. I hope that was a help to you. I also have my stock system, but I think shipping would kill ya. Goodluck.

I am just gonna go ahead and let my local tuner shop get it (Apexi- WS part # 104-kh22) and install it for my for 500, i think that is a decent price!
And yes , i would never get a single exhaust on our cars, this system is a dual!

Your first post is on a really old thread, so for better response and input :

~ Ya may want to check out the 2nd Gen's "Performance Parts and Modifications" sub-forum.
The popular choices and info are well covered by searching previous posted threads on the exhaust options available for our TL's.

If you can find one, ATLP is probably the best you will find for our cars.
