Help on Care for New Transmission

So I knew eventually it would happen that my transmission would go just didnt expect it to happen with no warning signs at all. Oh well, thats life.

I found an informed rebuilder in TL transmissions and other types and my question is on the rebuild since wont be all OEM parts, thankfully. Do we still follow the 3x3 and only use the designated Honda ATF fluid? Is there any sort of consensus?

I think what he was getting at is that a rebuild will just push the same issue off for later, most likely. It's still a bad transmission design. The general consensus is that once your tranny goes out, get the swap done and never worry about it again.

But, to answer your question specifically - if you're getting a rebuild, it's still the same tranny. So, you'll be following the same care steps as before.
