Hi I have a 2001 acura Tl and sometimes when I turn on my car my abs light turns on and it feels really heavy on 1st gear

 

Does it go away after a little driving? does it stay on? Do you hear any pulsating while its doing it? Can you give us a little more information?

Get codes read to determine why the abs light is on. Local auto parts store should do it for free..... what do you mean by first gear being really heavy? Please maybe try to explain with more detail your symptoms you are expieriencing.

 

turn on my car traction control (not abs sorry) light turns on put it in drive have to put the rpms up really high to get it out of 1st gear and only that gear

 

Sounds like your tranny is slipping. When was the last time the fluid was changed? How does the fluid look on the dipstick?

 

i got the fluid in my trans changed almost a mouth ago and i think it might be electrical because when my disconnected my battery (last week) it stopped doing it but it stared doing it yesterday and today again

 

Who changed the fluid and what fluid did they put in?? What method was used to change it?? They may have ruined your transmission. It's not electrical at all.

 

Yah your problem does not sound Electrical at All... If you have ABS/VSA(TCS) On when you have your problem, Chances are your Trans is TOASTED.

 

my uncle changed it he has a shop and it was doing that before they changed the oil in the trans
i got the car a 3 months ago and it started to do it like 2 weeks after i got it my uncle changed the oil and a sensor that was marked under shift solenoid c stopped doing it then started to do it again

 

Without codes all we are doing is guessing. Get the codes read and let us know what they are.
