Help!

I was Charging my phone through the power outlet and it blew out the outlet and the radio. I checked all the fuses and they are fine (driver side fuse box). Are there more than one fuse boxes inside the cabin? Or, what's wrong with my car? (03 TL-S)

There are 3 fuse panels. One on the passenger side of dash, one n the driver side of dash, and one under the hood, right up by the cowling.

is the lighter assembly loose in the holder???
they like to pop out/inward and may cause a short to ground with the power lead

there are fuses- then the power goes to a relay- that powers whatever parts

driver side and passenger side fuse boxes, are basically a mirror image of each other as far as the location OP (you remove the same panel but on the otherside instead)

as far as a total of 3 fuse boxes, there is actually like 1-2 more (ABS normally has it own box ), then there is also a relay box, over on the driver side on the strut tower
but yes only 3 boxes the OP should really be concerned with though

but iirc OP, one of the blown fuses will be in one of the boxes behind the dash though, but first gotta find out why it blew (maybe your charging cord has been pinched and is shorting internally ); may not always be the car itself

so once you find the fuse, will the outlet charge other stuff (such as a GPS), without an issue, or does it blow again?

also make sure the contacts inside the outlet itself are not bent either, that can also cause a short too

Inspect the socket for foreign matter, esp. metal, before you replace the fuse. Maybe something fell inside of it. Mine has come loose before as described previously. It's pretty simple to tighten. Chk. the DIY section.

Thanks guys, you guys are awesome.
It's the fuse in the passenger side that's blown. It's replaced and now the radio is blink'n "code" Any chance you guys know the radio code? And how do you program it?
