Help!!!!

acurazine gurus!! i need some quick help here... just finishing up my axle/lower ball joint install and ive run into a little snag.. the clamp for the boot on the axle is rubbing up against the raised edge on top of the ball joint... let me know if it'll be fine this way cause i dont want the clamp being ripped off goin a 100 km/h and spuing grease everywhere!!! heres a couple pics...

ohh and i just realized that i forgot to put the snap ring on the bottom of the ball joint.. shit!!

I'm sure the gurus will chime in once they come home from work or wake up from their slumber just patiently wait. now while you're waiting, you should check your work to see if you misalligned something. secondly, check the part number and make sure it matches your car. is it oem or reman or new from places like kragens or checkers auto parts (depending on your region). go back and retrace all your steps and tighten all your bolts nuts and screws again just to be safe. lol and go back and put that snap ring back on properly

Its not in far enough- remove and install with snap ring, or you will be calling your insurance agent explaing how the axle suddenly fell out~

the ball joint isnt in far enough?...its pushed down as far as it goes.. and for the axle i havent tightened the nut yet...
