Hello people!!!!
Hey guys just wanted to introduce myself, since I am relatively new to the forum. Heard a bunch of good things about this site from friends that own TLs.
My name is Julian and I have a 2003, 3.2 TL. Just got it a few months ago and it's been a great experience owning one.
One question though. Yesterday, I got into my car in a morning and I heard a whistling sound when I started it. The sound continues while you drive or while the car is parked. What I think is happening, is that my OFF button on the Navigation screen doesn't actually turn the heater or A/C off and the belts are still going. I pressed the OFF button, next to AUTO button on the panel and the sound stops.
The weirdest thing is that the noise is either loud or you can barely hear it and again it doesn't matter if I am driving or just standing.
Any thoughts?

Julian,
Welcome to the Forum. I also have a 2003 TL and your right they're great cars.
As far as your car problem, since it's still under warranty just take your car to the dealership let them figure it out, vs. getting cyber-diagnoses.
That’s my 2 cents.

Thanks for the worm welcome guys. I am from Freehold. I was hoping to go to the Acura Wars in Englishtown, to meet some locals, but have to head back to UK for a few weeks.
Maybe next time.
As far as my problem, I guess before posting things, its best to search for similar issues, because I see Lazyman has the same issue. Just like mine, could be an overall problem.
Thanks for the comments though.

Conratulations and welcome to the board! As for your problem, best thing would be to go to the dealer and have them check it out. You can also ask them to check a new TL-S and see if it has the same noise. Or find a local TL-S and check it out. Maybe its just the a/c compressor.
